When I said red, what is the first thought about it? Love? Aggression maybe? My first thought is passion. Passion for life, passion for what I live.
Red is a very powerful, warm and positive color. Red associating our physical needs and our will to survive. It energizes and motivates us to take actions. But red can also encourage aggressive and domineering behavior, that’s why we should consider about right time to wear red.
Power of red
Even if the red has a masculine energy, it’s it excites women’s emotions, inspires us and gives much more spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. I strongly recommend a dash of red for every business women, because it can give confidence to those who are shy or lacking in will power.
Did you know a red can be your enemy?
The color red can stimulate the appetite, often being used in restaurants for this purpose. It also increases craving for food. Well, no red walls in my flat! 😀
50 shades of red
Hehehe 🙂 I’m just joking! It’s not 50, but we can differentiate at least 4 shades of red.
Maroon is a dark bluish red and it’s not as dramatic as a true red. Burgundy in a dark purplish red and it gives a flair of luxury. Crimson has a little blue in it. It’s intensive but does not upsetting. And my favorite – scarlet. Scarlet has a little orange in it and it gives you rich and sensual feelings about it. It’s fun-loving color, that reminds you on sunny autumn day.
A dash of luck
In Eastern cultures such as China red is the color for good luck. When it comes to business clothes, choose one or two pieces of red, like red lipstick and red nail polish, red shoes and red Tiesy or just a red top. I’m sure a little red will bring you a good luck.
*A little hint for all women: Red is the color of sexuality and can stimulate deeper and more intimate passions in us, such as love and sex on the positive side or revenge and anger on the negative. 🙂 Red is cool, right?
